Thanks to Remote System Monitor, you can use your Android to keep an eye on your PC’s hardware and system parameters. You can view a list of running processes, your CPU’s load and temperature, how much RAM your PC is currently using, your HDD’s SMART status, graphs for a lot of sensors, and more.

Since Remote System Monitor sends information from your PC to your Android, this means you will have to install it on both your devices. You will have to install the Remote System Monitor server on your PC (download it right here on FindMySoft) and the Remote System Monitor app on your Android (download it from Google Play).

Once you’re done installing the server and the mobile app, it’s time to link them together. On your PC, launch the Remote System Monitor Server Control to see the IP address you have to connect to, enter a server password, and check to see if the server is running correctly. On your Android, launch the Remote System Monitor app, tap Add Server and enter the required information (tap the ? button if you don’t know what information you need to enter). Once you’re done with that, the app will connect to the server and your Android will display information about your PC’s hardware and system parameters.

The Quick Look video that accompanies this article presents the Remote System Monitor Server Control. It does not present Remote System Monitor running on an Android device. If you want to see Remote System Monitor running on an Android device, I invite you to go check out this YouTube video.

Remote System Monitor is free software. The Windows application (the server) is free and the Android app is free as well.

With a bit of help from Remote System Monitor, you can send advanced system and hardware information from your PC to your Android. Your mobile becomes a handy tool that you can use to keep an eye on your desktop.

Pros

Installing the Remote System Monitor server on a PC is a simple task; installing the Remote System Monitor app on an Android device is a simple task as well. You can password protect access to the Remote System Monitor server. Remote System Monitor sends advanced system and hardware information from your PC to your Android. Remote System Monitor is free.

Cons

If you can’t get the app to connect to the server, there might be an issue with the Windows Firewall. Disable it to see if the issue is fixed. If it is, re-enable the firewall and manually add Remote System Monitor to the list of software that’s authorized to go through the firewall.
